The girl had been walking out the royal gardens, as she heard the bells ring from a nearby bell-tower signaling that it was time for tea. Elizabeth knew that her governess might not be please if she was late for tea. It was one of those things that she had to be there as soon as the first course was served or there could be trouble. Lizzy knew that there were limits to her freedom, so she tried to walk a fine line between those boundaries. Never stupid enough to make a mistake twice, even though at times she had committed the same mistake but she had learned from those lessons.
Elizabeth was hurried from the gardens by her guards, who did not want the young royal to be late to tea. She walked quickly from the gardens to her carriage holding up her brim of skirt. Her guards lined up neatly in a row, stopping the people walking so she could pass and get on her carriage.
The girl sat inside as the carriage headed towards Versailles. Elizabeth looked around, she was nervous. Hopefully the girl was not late for tea, she did not want make a bad impression. She sighted as the carriage entered the Palace . Lizzy smiled as the carriage stopped, she exited with the help of her guards and hurried inside. She went up to the stairs and started running through the corridors to the parlor where she was suppose to meet her sister and her governess.Elizabeth looked around sort of lost, she was late and confuse,it was not a good combination. She continued running through the corridors hopefully she would find the parlor, she was suppose to be in.

Christabelle was so looking forward to spending sometime with her younger sister Elizabeth. She was the only person that Belle even let close to her and this little meeting wasn’t just for a sister day together nope there was another purpose behind it and well she knew her younger sister would be so happy. Since coming to Versailles her life had been not up to her decisions were being made for Christabelle. Her impending marriage to a man who may not make it five years into the marriage a man who wouldn’t even be able to walk himself down the isle nope she was not going to think much about Dastan today for today was all about sisters and their strong bond. Thinking of life without Elizabeth being there to play games to have fun with and confide in was not very pleasing. Growing up all they had was each other for company to help with lessons to be there when they had nothing from their own parents. Two royal girls who wanted for nothing when it came to possessions two girls who seemed to have everything except for the one thing they wanted most in the world some form of affection from their parents the King and Queen of England. As painful as that was the one comfort Christabelle had been her little sister and so wanting to relax and enjoy Lizzy’s company.
The servants had set out a proper tea with small little cakes and finger sandwiches everything the proper royal should be eating but looking at the clock she let out a sigh. Her sister running late was nothing new that girl had a mind of her own and did what she wanted. Elizabeth was her own person and she did not let anybody hold her back or tell her what to do. The fire she had was something Christabelle wished she did and while most thought Belle hard headed and stubborn most of the time it was just an act to put out there so people did not really see the pain and loneliness that filled her life. All the fancy dresses and jewels were nothing but a curtain to cover who and what she really was. Shaking her head this English Princess put out of her head all of these unhappy thoughts and looked at the door as she sat there drumming her nails on the arm of the chair. “Oh dearest Lizzy my sweet little sister when on this earth will you ever learn to be ontime.”she said out loud with a slight laugh.
