Tell us your event ideas!

Hey there all my Versailles family members. The other Admins and I want to think up a grand event to celebrate the new year on site. But the trouble is we need something new and exciting and something that all of you would love to come to and rp with. We want all of you to be happy and to be part of this so why don’t you tell us what you want to see happen. Any even ideas you may have post them here and let us know what kind of fun you want to have. This event will be site wide and involve some big time dramatics and diabolical things to happen to keep things interesting and people always guessing what will happen. You guy are all talented and smart and so we want you to be a part of this. Every idea will be considered so post what comes to your mind.

Well, one of my ideas was to have a hunt for a stag and then a ball, or some sort of dance, afterwards. Another idea is to have a sort of circus/fair come to Paris.

Perhaps a murder mystery dinner party at Versailles?

Owing to the large number of guests at the palace, they could be broken down into smaller groups (perhaps at random by the staff for extra fun ;] ) and sent to separate rooms with separate plots for their dinner theatre experience.

BUT! During the course of the evening, someone actually turns up murdered (probably an NPC of whichever class, maybe a servant?) Which ultimately unites each of the parties as they begin a very real game of 'whodunnit?' (Whoever the killer would be is up to be decided)

That sounds like it could be a lot of fun, though I feel we would need a pretty strong commitment from people who want to participate for the planning to be worth it.
