Celandine felt happy for once in her entire life. It had been almost two months since her marriage to Kasper and since their coronation as king and queen of Iceland. She knew how much Kasper was probably stressing from being the king as much as she was about being queen. But being the caring and devoting wife that she was,she would be there for him always. Cela was sitting in her and Kasper's chambers in the main chamber. She was laying down on a chaise,reading a poetry book that she recently borrowed from the princess Catriona. She was dressed in a pale blue dress with her long black hair down since she was inside her chambers. She knew Kasper must be with his advisers and she'd see him later.
But Cela's moments of quiet was interrupted when a maid came in and curtsied to her. Cela looked to her and nodded,asking what it was. The maid offered a letter to her and said it was from her father. Celandine sighed and stood up,placing the book on the table. Cela took the letter and said to her maid,"Leave me." The maid curtsied and left. Cela took the envelope in her hands and sighed,ripping the letter to shreds. Cela walked over to the fireplace and threw the pieces in the fire,grabbing the poker and made sure every piece burned. "I will not read another letter with the same information." Cela whispered to herself as she sat down on the chaise again,sighing loudly. Cela hated her father. He was even more greedy now that she became queen. He wanted more land but she was sure he would get none of it.
